Analysis and Design of the Suboptimum Class-E_M/F₃ Resonant Inverter

In this paper, the analysis and design method for suboptimum Class- $\text{E}_{\mathrm {M}}/\text{F}_{3}$ inverter (i.e., only zero-voltage switching (ZVS), zero-voltage-derivative (ZVDS), zero-current (ZCS) conditions are satisfied) with a duty ratio D =0.5 presented. proposed method, new parameter K called slope of switch current (when turns off) is introduced defining degree distance from optimum condition. By using soft resonant inverter, third harmonic filter circuit innovatively to reduce flowing through parallel capacitor main circuit, greatly peak voltage auxiliary circuit. And waveforms equations can be derived in detail. Compared conventional {M}}$ offer much lower higher efficiency. To verify validity operating at 1MHz designed IRFZ24N transistor. The experimental results show that output power 15.138W, efficiency reaches 96.4%, reduced by 29.3% 15.6%, respectively. PSpice-simulation measurement agreed analytical results, which verified effectiveness method.
